The Covid 19 pandemic reached Pakistan in February 2020. Since then it has continued with a rapid growth has not stopped till yet. The total number of cases reported in Pakistan are 336k and our continuing to grow. The number of recovered patients are 327k where as 7248 people lost their lives to this deadly virus.
Usman Buzdar, the Chief Minister of Punjab has confirmed a total of 143k cases of positive corona reported in Punjab up till now. So far 4541 people have lost their lives to this virus in Punjab. Cantt has been one of the most hot areas of the people getting affected by this virus.
Since the second wave of corona virus is emerging, the government is planning to impose another lockdown in the country but this time the difference will be that there will be a smart lockdown in the areas affected only rather than the complete lockdown. The education ministry has been advised by the WHO to shutdown the educational institutes so that the students do not become the host of it. Cantt has reported a a total of 23 cases in the past week and a smart lockdown has imposed on the different streets of Cantt. People are asked not to go out of their homes since the situation of Cantt is not favorable to the people.
Chief Minister Punjab, Usman Buzdar has advised the people to follow all Sops and practice social distancing and wearing of masks.
