Beat is Forman Dramatics Club (FDC).
Forman dramatics club is one of the most active society of Forman Christian College. It encourages the students to take part in extracurricular dramas and other activities to enhance their dramatics skills. It provides students to a platform to show their acting skills. It also provides entertainment to the students and boost the confidence of the students by making tours outside college premises.
The dramatics club hosts to major events every year other than its regular competitions and plays. They are named as The Annual Play and Theatro. The annual play is the event where the FDC team members write produce and act one of the best play for the night for the audience which are the students. In this event only the teams of Fc university can participate as it is to celebrate the talent of our own university. The other major event that FDC hosts is known as Theatro. This event is a large scale event and different teams from different universities participate in this. Big names such as teams from Lums, Lse, Nca, Bnu etc participate in this event to see who is the best. This large scale event is also sponsored by big brands. Latest theatro,20 hosted 15 teams from different universities and one of itself and was sponsored by the company Vivo juice. Students from Lums were awarded for the best play whereas students from FCCU won the best comic play. Overall the event was a huge success.
This event was also covered by different media channels and was appreciated by different stars also. The judges of the event were the famous actor Noor ul Hassan and Ahsan Khan who are known all over the country for their terrific acting skills. At the end of the event shields were presented to the winning teams and the judges followed by their speeches. Overall the event was a huge success.
